Don't take Lilian Garcia, the Ring Announcer for WWE's
Monday Night Raw at
face value. This young lady is an exceptionally gifted vocalist with a four-octave range who graduated
Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina. She was also a top 10 finalist in the Miss South Carolina
pageant, lived in Spain for eight years and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Lilian has been singing since a very young age. Her vocal talents have been displayed as a featured
performer at the 2001 Macy's Day Parade, 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, USS Intrepid,
NY Wall Street, on LIVE with Regis and Kathy Lee and CBS's Eye on People. She was
the vocalist on WWE Diva Torrie Wilson's Entrance Theme Song titled Need A Little Time which is on the
WWE Anthology CD and co-wrote and performed the song You Just Don't Know Me At All which is on the WWE
Origionals CD. She has also been on the cover of two music magazines to name a few and has even opened
up for the legendary James Brown.
In addition to her broadcast duties with the WWE, she sings the National Anthem before each and every
Monday Night Raw show. Vince McMahon, the Chairman of the WWE paid her the highest compliment possible
when he asked her to sing the National Anthem on his pay-per-view's, WrestleMania 2000 and SummerSlam 2003
along with America The Beautiful at WrestleMania 2005. Previous to Lilian's performance, Mr. McMahon had
gotten such superstars as Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Gladys Knight, Boyz II Men,
Reba McEntire, Ashanti and Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child to do the honors.
She has also performed the National Anthem at numerous NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball Games.
She has done voice-overs for such great companies as Coca-Cola, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Ford and McDonalds,
has done jingles for Toyota and has utilized her bilingual skills singing jingles in Spanish for J.C.Penney and
Squirt. She was also in the Lucille Roberts Health Club television commercial.
Her talents go further than her vocal and broadcast skills (which also included a stint at WYYS, Yes 97 as the
morning show & afternoon drive-time on-air personality). She is also an accomplished actress performing in the
theatre productions of H.M.S. Pinafore, Godspell, The Miracle Worker, Tom Sawyer and Fiddler On The Roof.
When you add it up, you have a cultured, intelligent, well-educated young lady who has been blessed with beauty
and the indisputable talent to take her to the top.
