Mat's Encounter With Lilian

Best Buy, Los Angeles
I left my house around 520pm due to my dads doctors appointment. He finally gets to my house and we pretty much leave right away. He took the surface streets and being 5pm it was a long drive.
We arrive at the Best Buy, which seemed to be in a newly built shopping center, parking was easy. I go in and right to my right was Lilian greeting fans already waiting in line. She was hugging some fans and so on.
Her album is playing pretty loud thruout the store. I goto the record section to find her cd, which there was only 2 left, buried in a misc latin section ::)
I pay for the cd and goto the line, which itself really wasnt that long. I was in line for about 25 minutes.
Its my turn finally and I approach Lilian. She says hi and was very nice. I hand her the cd and she signs it. I tell her I am the co-webmaster of liliangarcia.net and she said "which", because the music was so loud, I told her again she said "Aww cool, thanks for supporting me".
I hand her my folder of 8x10 promos I took and she starts signing away. But the real special moment was when she saw the "mainstreet" black and white. She litterly screemed "Oh...My..God..." and people in the line look at me like I had a gun.
She runs a few inches and said to the guy in the photo "Remember I told you I was in a band at 15, this is it" The guy took it and looked and smiled. She came back to the table and said "where did you get this". Told her it was a ebay find and that Kristen had bought the original and mine was a copy. She said "Kristen Daniels" and I said yes. She signed the photo and as she signed it "I dont even have one of these". Part of me wanted to say "keep it" but I didnt.
She hands me my 8x10s, comes from behind the table and poses for a pic with me.
She said thanks for coming and as she goes I ask to please sign a poster for Kristen and she was "Kristen Daniels??" yet again and I said yes. She was like "sure", she signs it, She gives me a hug and says thanks.
All in all it was a awesome first experience. I didnt get any sleep the previous night cause I was so hyped up.
