Kirsten's Sixth Fan Encounter With Lilian

I was the first one to get up to Lilian and right away I gave her the gift card with a little thank you card, and the first words out of her mouth? "BOOTS!!" Which is kind of the reaction I expected from her, she was clearly excited and shocked about it. She said thank you a bunch of times and I think the shock really set in when she realized it was for $175. Anyway, after that I gave her this photo album I put together, on one side was a picture of me from the photo shoots Katie I have done, and on the other was the picture of Lilian that inspired it. She got a big kick out of the album and mentioned how it was "All of her poses!". We had to remind her about the one picture, which was rather amusing. Once she was done looking through the book, I gave her the items I brought with me to be signed. First she signed my Quiero Vivir cover, then the Mainstreet promo which once again, had her cracking up. She covered her face with it and laughed for a minute or two about it. She asked if it was an original and how I managed to get it. She started to sign it in a sharpie, then opted for using a pen since that's how all of the other signatures on the picture were done. Finally she signed my promo and then we took our picture together. She thanked me once again for everything and then I stepped aside for the others to talk to her.

Like Katie mentioned, we hung out during the rest of the signing and while they had her signing promos for the store to sell I had my little sister on the phone and she wanted to talk to Lil. So, I asked Lil if she would mind and of course she had no problem with it. She spent a few minutes talking to Brianna and told me she really wishes she would have come with me. Then she told the guy at the table with her how adorable Brianna is and how she has this cute, curly, blonde hair. (To say she made my sister's day would be putting it mildly. Especially since Lil told her she's really looking forward to seeing her again).

All in all, it was a truly an amazing experience, the best experience I've had, not only with Lilian, but compared to everyone else I have met. If you get the chance to meet only one Diva in your lifetime, I would truly recommend it being Lilian. I'm not saying this as a biased fan, but as someone who has met a lot of people and never felt as at ease with someone. When you talk to Lil, it's not like you're her fan, it feels more like your her friend.
