FOX News' Your World with Neil Cavuto again featured WWE Superstars today. John Bradshaw Layfield, Lilian Garcia and ECW World Champion Lashley spoke about the recent fourth annual Tribute to the Troops trip to Iraq and upcoming Christmas special.
"These soldiers are heroes. Men and women are heroes there," Lashley told Cavuto. "These are powerful, mighty men. They're spending a year away from their families and they're out in some of the roughest conditions around. They're doing a great job."
JBL said he was shocked at how high troops' morale was in Baghdad.
"I've been over there six times, so I have something to compare it to. The morale was as high this time as I've ever seen it," JBL admitted. "These guys really have a sense of purpose. They believe in what they're doing."
Lashley reiterated the sentiment.
"When I was there, I had an opportunity to speak to a lot of these guys, and man, the morale is high. They're ready to do their job on a day-to-day basis, and then they're ready to get home to their families," Lashley said.
JBL also revealed to Cavuto that the WWE Divas were a huge hit with the troops.
"There's something about hot chicks in a war zone," JBL laughed.
Garcia couldn't help but agree.
"It was great. As soon as we stepped off the plane, the soldiers started going crazy when they saw the Divas," Garcia smiled. "It was like, 'Oh wow, this is great, we should live over here!'"
WWE's Tribute to the Troops airs Christmas night on the USA network.
